Welcome to Rise Lux Travel. By using our services, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions, which are designed to ensure a clear understanding of our services and your responsibilities. Please review this document carefully.
1. Scope of Services
Rise Lux Travel acts as a booking agent, connecting clients with independent suppliers like tour operators, hotels, airlines, and transportation providers. We coordinate services but are not the provider of these travel services. By engaging our services, you warrant that you are 18 years or older and possess the legal authority to make travel bookings.
Services Provided:
Accommodations & Transportation: Includes hotel bookings, car rentals, transfers, and tours.
Itinerary Planning: We provide electronic itineraries with details such as restaurant recommendations, tour bookings, and receipts of travel costs.
2. Fees & Payments
A non-refundable planning fee is required to begin your travel proposal. This fee covers our advisory services and does not include the cost of accommodations, flights, or tours. Rise Lux Travel may receive commissions from suppliers, which are separate from fees paid by the client.
All payments for travel bookings must be completed as per each supplier’s terms. Failure to make timely payments may result in the cancellation of reservations.
3. Credit Card Authorization
By authorizing us to use your credit card, you agree to cover all associated charges. Unauthorized chargebacks may result in additional fees to recoup costs. Clients are responsible for payment of all taxes, fees, and other costs related to travel bookings.
4. Cancellations & Rescheduling
Cancellation or rescheduling may incur penalties. Rise Lux Travel charges $500.00 per cancellation or rescheduling. Each supplier has its own policies, and you agree to read and accept these when booking. All cancellation or change requests must be submitted to Rise Lux Travel in writing.
5. Responsibility for Bookings
Each booking is subject to the individual supplier’s terms and conditions, which may include changes in itinerary, hotel substitutions, and other adjustments. Rise Lux Travel is not responsible for services booked independently.
6. Travel Documentation
It is the client’s responsibility to ensure they have accurate and current travel documents, including passports, visas, and any necessary health documentation. For minors, additional consent documentation may be required.
7. Liability & Risk
Travel involves certain risks, including potential weather disruptions, delays, or health risks. By using our services, you assume all such risks and release Rise Lux Travel from liability for any injuries, losses, or damages that may occur.
8. Travel Insurance
We highly recommend travel insurance to protect against unforeseen changes or cancellations. Travel insurance details are the client’s responsibility, and Rise Lux Travel is not involved in the claims process.
9. Currency Exchange & Price Fluctuations
Prices are subject to change based on currency fluctuations and supplier policies. Additional charges due to exchange rates or fees are the responsibility of the client.
10. Communication
Our primary communication method is email, with responses provided during business hours (Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 4:30 PM PST). Clients should respond promptly to ensure smooth travel planning. Any communication breakdown may result in delays or booking cancellations.
11. Confidentiality
All itineraries are confidential and intended only for client use. Sharing is permitted for emergency purposes or with insurance providers as needed. Rise Lux Travel maintains the confidentiality of client information, except as required to fulfill travel bookings.
12. Modifications to Terms & Conditions
Rise Lux Travel reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions as needed. Updated versions will be shared with clients.
13. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms & Conditions are governed by California law. Disputes will be resolved through arbitration, with proceedings held in Los Angeles County, unless otherwise agreed upon by both parties.
